I had a really bad fall recently... the kind that makes you think, "This is going to go wrong." But I didn't suffer any side effects. I did limp for three weeks from bruising, but my head was fine. I'm incredibly grateful; without that helmet, things could have turned out very differently. And I know it's not supposed to be that way and I have to replace it. I used to be very faithful, but with this thing, I can see the inside, and it still looks great. The shell is scuffed from sliding on the road, but luckily, it's much cheaper to replace ;) Please remain anonymous.

Please note: Vísolde recommends replacing the helmet after every fall, or after a maximum of 5 years of use, whichever occurs first.
We understand that consumers find it advantageous to be able to check their helmet for damage. However, damage after a fall isn't always visible to the naked eye. Therefore, checking your helmet yourself is entirely at your own risk and cannot replace our advice. Vísolde strongly recommends replacing your helmet after every fall.
