Vísolde, where safety, style and innovation come together.
Our passion for equestrian sports led us to one goal: developing a helmet that not only offers optimal protection but also matches every rider’s personal style. The result is the Vísolde riding helmet. Unique, modern, and designed with an eye for detail. But we didn’t stop there. Our collection keeps expanding, with colorful and safe products that allow you to express your true, colorful self!
The idea behind Vísolde
A golden helmet, a light green helmet? Few companies offer such options, and if they do, they often cost around €1200 for a single helmet. And even then, you still need a second one – because who rides daily with a golden helmet?
That’s when the founder came up with the idea to create an interchangeable riding helmet: one base helmet you can easily adapt again and again. Suitable for both riding school students and ambitious competition riders.

Every rider is unique, and your helmet should be too. With Vísolde’s interchangeable shell, you can easily choose a new color or look. From classic to modern, from subtle to bold: with more than 48 different options and the possibility of personalized shells, you can make your helmet truly your own.
Sustainability & quality
Our helmets and accessories are developed and tested with care. The browbands, decorated with hand-glued stones using our unique adhesive process, guarantee exceptional durability and a luxurious look.

All our color collections carry a unique name – dedicated to people who played a special role in the early days of our company. As a gesture of gratitude, these collections remain a lasting tribute to their support and significance.
Committed to good causes
Vísolde believes in giving and sharing.
From the Tamara Collection, a portion of the annual profit goes to the Dutch Cancer Society (KWF Kankerbestrijding), so that more people – just like Tamara – can overcome this disease.
In addition, Vísolde donates annually to Alzheimer Nederland, in memory of the founders’ (father-in-law).
About the Founder
My name is Vera, and I’ve been crazy about horses since I was very young. My first horse was called Isolde – and together with the “V” from my first and last name, that’s how the name Vísolde was born.
I’m obsessed with matchy matchy. Pairing a blue outfit with a black helmet just didn’t feel complete to me. But buying five different helmets? That quickly became an expensive hobby. That’s why I decided to come up with my own solution: a helmet that’s not only safe, but also stylish and endlessly adaptable to your look.
For me, one thing is key: that all riders – especially matchy matchy girls like me – have a brand that puts safety and affordability first. In the meantime, more and more products have been added, all personally created and designed by me.
