Why choose the Vísolde riding helmet?
With the Vísolde helmet, you combine top-level safety with style. Thanks to its innovative safety module, your head is protected against (rotational) forces. With the interchangeable shell, you can choose from 48 options – classic black today, sparkling pink tomorrow. Want to pick your own stone colours? That’s also possible with our “Design yourself” helmet.
During riding, the shell stays securely in place. It even remains attached in the event of a fall without rotation. While a traditional helmet stops abruptly on impact – causing strong forces on the brain – the Vísolde helmet is built differently: the safety module allows the shell to release during a hard rotational fall. The outer shell stops on impact, while the safety module – together with your head – continues the movement.
Where traditional MIPS systems allow up to 2 cm of movement, the outer shell of the Vísolde helmet has no limit to its range of motion, because the module fully releases the shell. Our helmet is tested according to European standards and carries the required safety certificate EN1384:2023.

For a head circumference of up to 56 cm we recommend size S/M.
For a head circumference of more than 56 cm we recommend size M/L for extra comfort.

DELIVERY AND RETURNS
Orders placed on weekdays before 12:00 are shipped the same day.
Glitter helmets and glitter shells are shipped within 2 business days.
You will receive tracking information as soon as your order is on its way.

- Other countries: return shipping at your own cost. Processing of returns is free of charge.
Delivery time
Standard helmets and shells: Ordered before 12:00 today = shipped the same day.
Browbands, armbands and glitter helmets and cups: shipped within two business days.
Custom helmets and shells: shipped within 7 business days.
Orders typically arrive within 2-3 business days after you receive your shipping confirmation.

Notification of delays
Despite our best efforts, unexpected volume delays with our carriers or (extreme) weather conditions may affect estimated delivery times. We will do our best to notify you of any further delays.

Returns and Refunds
Returns are accepted within 30 days of receiving your order. Items must be in the same condition as when shipped and include the original tags. Incomplete or used products will not be accepted.
To return the product, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to customerservice@visolde.com containing your order number, the product to be returned and the reason for return.
- After reporting your return, you must return the item within 30 days.
- Send the products to: Vísolde® BV, Ambachtstraat 36, 2751 GP Moerkapelle, Netherlands. Shipping is at your own expense, except when purchasing a HELMET. Returns are free when purchasing a helmet.
- Please obtain proof of shipping.
- After we receive your package, your return will be processed. The refund amount (purchase price, any shipping costs, and payment fees*) will be refunded to your account as soon as possible (usually within 8 business days, but we aim for the same day you receive your package) and no later than 14 business days. We reserve the right to withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned products . The sender remains responsible for the return until we receive the shipment.
